About the Author - JDanielLayfield

I was born and raised about 30 miles south of Birmingham, AL, in the same town I still call home. I am the eldest of three children and my parents still live in the house in which I spent most of my childhood. Right now writing is just a hobby (or an all consuming obsession - depending on who you ask) but I would love to be able to support my family with it one day. Until then, it will just be something I do before work in the morning and after the kids go to bed at night.
