Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common? I would love to be Samantha Reed from My Life Next Door. I just fell in love with her and the Garrett family, so I would love to be in her position ;).

Young at Heart: June 2012

http://youngatheartbookblog.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

A Young Adult Book Blog. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Happy end of June! Here are all of the books that I read in June plus reviews. Now that I look at the books I read this month, I see that I kinda sucked. Really, only seven books! I guess if I think about it, only two of these books were less than 300 pages. I'm just a tad bit sad that it will be July tommorow, and I only have about 1 1/2 months until school starts back up. Where has all of the time gone! Anyway, here are all of my June reads-. I think th...

Young at Heart: July 2012

http://youngatheartbookblog.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

A Young Adult Book Blog. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I am so sad. I cannot believe how fast this summer has flown by! In two weeks I will be back in a new school, sitting at a different desk and figuring out the workings of my new high school. I will totally miss the hours I can spend in the summer just reading. Hopefully this school year will bring lots of awesome change, but I will miss the slow pace of summertime. All books are linked to Goodreads. The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The Lonely Hearts Club.

Jenna Likes to Read. Archives for July 2015. 03 - Executive Decisions. Hi - I'm Jenna and I like to read! I'll read just about anything from romance to science fiction. For a while, I read a lot of YA, but got tired of it and stopped blogging for a while. I recently revived this blog to post thoughts on the Star Wars Legends books, most of which I'm reading for the first time. I live in Atlanta and have an adorable dog. Jenna's favorite books ». Jenna Likes to Read. Jedi Trial by David Sherman and Dan Cragg. Posted on 20 April 2015. Oh, wow. This book was really not good. Generally I can find something positive to say about any book, but it would be a stretch for this one. I was bored and just really didn’t care. I mostly kept reading because I wanted to find out what happened to Erk and Odie. By the end, I wasn’t a huge fan of them anymore. Star Wars EU Legends. No responses yet. You could be the first! Jenna Likes to Read. Triple Zero (Republic Commando, Bk 2) by Karen Traviss. Posted on 31 May 2015. I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. I liked the first half. I liked reconnecting with the Omega squad, but eventually adding in the Delta squad made it too many characters to keep up with. Add in Skirata, Vau, Etain, Ordo, and Jusik, and it was a bit overwhelming. The writing style in this book was a bit more annoying than the first book in the series. There were long passages of conversati...

After seeing The Force Awakens, I want to know everything I possibly can about the new “Big Three” because I love them all so much. So of course I drove straight into Before the Awakening and loved it. The book is in three sections, one for each character, and each section shows something about the character before where we meet them in the movie. Posted on 16 November 2015 No responses.

Jenna Likes to Read. The Cestus Deception by Steven Barnes. Posted on 04 April 2015. This book. Eh. I don’t know. There were parts of it I really enjoyed, but for the most part, it was slow and a bit boring. Ventress wasn’t an interesting bad guy here because she was all talk with no success. She just seemed pointless. Obi-Wan and Kit were interesting. The politics less so. In the end, this just wasn’t the book for me. It had a lot of potential but just didn’t work.
