I'm not sure if it's just pregnancy, or if I maybe overexerted myself a bit during a back workout earlier this week. This is a photo post of what we have been up to over the last few weeks! 1) We are hosting an international student in our home (3 weeks total) through a program Veritas is participating in called GLO. It has been a great experience so far! This was right when they were arriving in Iowa City after a full day of travel. I have had fun hosting a few lunches for them! Having a day off during the week has been great! 2) Heidi’s bachelorette party! That is about it!

May 4, 2012. In In the kitchen. Margherita pizza is my favorite. I use to hate tomatoes and it seems like I have finally come around to enjoying them in certain dishes. Inspiration for this recipe trial came from a menu item I saw they were serving at one of the “fancy” cafeterias at UIHC ($7 for a flat bread mini pizza! Definitely something we will make again. Package flatout flat bread (or any other pizza dough or crust you have lying around). Hunk of real mozzarella cheese. Roma or Plum tomatoes.
