The Bible pictured here belonged to the Charley Young Family. Charley gave the Bible to Effie Young on December 26, 1908, probably a Christmas present. The Bible had been kept by Teler Young and one of his sons gave the Bible to Terry Young, a cousin. Terry Young gave the Bible to Jolene Mershon in 2000. It is in extremely fragile condition and is currently in the possesion of Jolene Mershon. He cover of the Bible is of a fabric. The pressed flower and leaf were inside the Bible. Back to Home page.
