Thursday, September 29, 2011. The last golden days of summer. We have had an unusually warm September. A few weeks ago the girls were upstairs changing clothes again (a daily occurrence that drives me to distraction) and came down in their swimsuits. It was a hot day so I gave in and let them all go out and play in the sprinklers. One last day in the sun as summer slips away from us. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. My grandma celebrated her 99th birthday this past weekend!

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Ella is a kindergartner! After meet the teacher day last week, when she wouldn't even talk to her teacher, I was even more nervous about this morning. But we got up and did hair (a new addition to the early morning routine! And she seemed pretty excited. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Just to be perfectly clear I did not purchase these. I can't think that anyone would pay money for them. Saturday, October 29, 2011. Our Halloween pumpkins for this year. An angry bird, a butterfly, a kitty. You shouldn't have to think too hard about which child picked which. They weren't too hard to carve but still took a lot of time. I did learn the new skill of 'etching' seen on the butterfly. Steven actually had this Saturday off of work. Hurray! Thursday, April 5, 2012. Pinewood derby round 2. It's that time of year again! The race day was lots of fun as usual. Lots of pinewood derby action, friends and treats too. Matt's car was not the fastest but luckily it wasn't the slowest either! He finished somewhere in the middle and got the award for "Best Build." Which I found very fitting. And start to come out in the sun to stay warm. So we get tons of frogs and the tarantulas.(tarantulas stay mostly in the canyon and come on the road to get warm. So about a week or so ago, I decided to switch it up and well I brushed her hair I would say "ow" for her. She thought it was funny and so did Heidi.
