http://myegyptianlife.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
My Big Fat Egyptian Life. Two people and two cultures collide. Monday, March 14, 2011. Before the January 25 revolution in Egypt, I was touched by a village and inspired to help make some changes. My husband's family is from a small village in north central Egypt called Elisha. It is about a 2 hour drive north of Cairo and a 2 hour drive south of Alexandria. My Big Fat Egyptian Life: Counting pennies
http://myegyptianlife.blogspot.com/2010/08/counting-pennies.html
My Big Fat Egyptian Life. Two people and two cultures collide. Sunday, August 29, 2010. When you are invited over it is common courtesy to bring something whether it is wine, food, or even flowers. No matter which way you swing it you are spending money on something. I've been lucky. I have great friends and family that understand my situation and have treated me to fabulous dinners and nights out. I am so appreciative for that! That rainy, desperate day has arrived! That's many meals at IKEA! Complicate...
