mid-state life: Beach Reading
http://danaswalker.blogspot.com/2005/07/beach-reading.html
Tuesday, July 19, 2005. I tend to be a book snob. I like to read meaningful literature that is not by Danielle Steele or something like that. I don't want to be able to predict exactly what is going to happen, in fact, I hate that. It's boring. Keep summer alive. We still have a whole month left. Posted by Dana @ 2:05 PM. mid-state life: June 2005

Thursday, June 30, 2005. Although it may seem as if I'm all wrapped up in baby land- that was accidental and now that's it's no longer my life (yet) I can focus on what is really going on. I got married almost 6 months ago in Jamaica and since only 50 of our closest friends and family could make the trip we had always been planning a big celebration in NJ. And it's in 2 days. Yet my one complaint is blatant disregard. We had a meeting at the house to discuss menu options and have a mini-tasting sessi...

mid-state life: March 2005
http://danaswalker.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 25, 2005. It is a good Friday. Although I had preconceived notions that pregnancy is a piece of cake and all those women with morning sickness and indigestion were whiny brats, I have changed my tune. My husband told me that he heard someone say that being pregnant is like having a hangover,. I feel like I owe every pregnant woman an apology, now that I have joined in the ranks of soon-to-be-motherhood, I sympathize. It's not easy to go through each day with nausea and indigestion.

Posted by Dana @ 12:50 PM. Friday, August 19, 2005. I get tons of daily emails that are trying to sell me something that is new and interesting. This is by far the most interesting one this year. This is so bizarre. I am trying to think of the pitch for this product. Will people actually buy this? Posted by Dana @ 9:13 AM.

Nevertheless, I started out with like zero readership, and to zero readership I will return. Bought a car (WTF is with gas prices? Things that I've been dying to blog about:. I do listen at least $10 a month's worth! I need that subscription to the Economist! And then I bought an iPod car adapter. So there.

mid-state life: TV rots your brains
http://danaswalker.blogspot.com/2005/07/tv-rots-your-brains.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2005. TV rots your brains. I have been proud of myself lately- I have stopped. Watching mindless reruns on TV every night- even. Though I love TV and could flip channels for hours. On end without so much as blinking. But summer. Is not about being inside so the TV stays off. Yet I realized that I have not been outside. Any more than I am in the winter and the TV has. Nothing to do with it. It is the simple fact. That I am lazy. So lazy that instead of walking. Like, yada, yada, yada.

mid-state life: Summertime Blues
http://danaswalker.blogspot.com/2005/07/summertime-blues.html
Thursday, July 28, 2005. So sometimes I think that maybe I have too much time on my hands. Especially when I spend 15 minutes talking about how funny Liz's blog. Is to my husband and he looks at me like I'm on crack. But I definitely do not have as much spare time as some people. Namely, P. Diddy, or Puff Daddy or Sean Combs- or whatever he feels like calling himself these days. An article from the UK. Another article from, you guessed it, Canada. Where are the write ups from US Weekly? TV rots your brai...
