Thoughts and things we run into! Archive for July, 2008. Microsoft VHD/VMC to VMware Server using Converter. July 28, 2008. Installed the converter on the Virtual Server, and browsed for the .VMC file, and wammo, next steps followed. This disk is only using 9 gigs and it is 15gig allocated for it. Thoughts and things we run into! I’m doing what it says to do. Edit! I like to talk about things that are/not kewl to us (me). We play with some of the new things that are out there, and use a set of tools in house to run the business. Either some kind of remote support, ticket system, monitoring amd imaging keeps us on top of our clients. So when we come accross something that is either an issue for us, or a tweak we think others will benieft from I will try to keep this updated. Check back or not🙂.

We have a few projects in the works that we are going to be talking about, but the most recent project was upgrading VMware Server 1.7 to VMware Server 2. What a complete UI change for the better! In the past we have used Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 for our needs and our clients. We sat in a meeting that was talking about VM’s ESX Server. That is the shit!
