Your English Fairy: December 2015
http://yourenglishfairy.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 22 December 2015. It's Christmas time. Today I had my last lessons before Christmas break. I've prepared a surprise for my younger learners. I've made a large picture sudoku board (60 cm x 60 cm) to teach them Christmas vocabulary (Santa, reindeer, present, sledge). At first we did the puzzle together, so they could get an idea what sudoku is. Then I devided them into small groups of three and they solved more advanced puzzles with the same pictures. Eventually, I decided to use Wordle. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, 15 February 2016. I've been using ClassDojo for a few months. My students love it, their parents love it, and I love it, too! Just a couple of weeks ago ClassDojo started to publish a five episode video series about growing mindset. Each episode presents important lessons on how everyone can grow their intelligence. I watched them with my students and we dicussed them. I decided to sum up the ideas presented in the series. And I used a new tool called Slate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
