The Beauty of a Phone Call. Due to the nature of this post, I will probably say something cheesy, pathetic, sad, embarrassing, or all of the above. You have been warned. Last Sunday was Mother's Day. Mothers are great. But I was excited for a completely different reason. I was excited because it was the day I got to speak to Mary, my French missionary. It was a tender conversation. When I had thought about what it would be like to talk to her after all of this time, and I expected something different.

I know it's been far too long since my last blog, but I thought I'd take a second and make sure you all know that I'm getting married tomorrow! Things have been great, and we're relieved to be past the craziest parts of planning a wedding. We look forward to seeing you if you can come to our reception tomorrow night at Somewhere Inn Time in Lindon. Take care everyone and we hope to see you soon! Links to this post. I can see somebody reading this and saying: "Well, bird poop, spiders, speeding cars and clowns.". I try to think of it on a deeper level. What is holding me back from doing what I know I should do? To many of you readers, this mig...

This is it. It's really happening. Eighteen months have really gone by. Tomorrow, my girlfriend Mary Shepherd comes home from her mission. It seems too good to be true. For those of you who don't know, Mary and I started dating in high school. After graduation she moved up to Utah State to go to school while I prepared for my mission. I left, and she waited. When I came home, she already had her call to serve in Geneva, Switzerland. We spent the next four months together. Links to this post. Things are g...

It has been far too long since I have posted anything here. Some of you may know, I recently began writing for a local online magazine called Rhombus. I write for the film column. You can go there to see some of my articles about random things. Otherwise, I have felt very strong about something else and it has to do with my other blog. Some of you started reading my stories at www.sms-writings.blogspot.com. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
