Saturday, January 17, 2009. There is a certain stillness to nature in winter that can't be matched any other time of year. I love all the times of year and the feel of being outside at those times, but winter has it's own beauty, peacefulness and power to it. It was great to have an opportunity (and the means) to take this all in today. As I walked, I remembered a favorite poem of my mother's:. Whose woods these are I think I know. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Some weeks are bigger than other. And this is one of them. I am usually not big on the major update on a blog thing, but it works, especially right now. So, here goes with the update. Tom and I are getting ordained this weekend at our church service. We are being ordained through RAIN. We are really honored and excited about this and all that God is doing. We put an offer on a house. On March 1 and yesterday, we (finally) heard back that our offer was accepted! Now I feel better.
