Sunday, January 23, 2011. As I said a long time ago, the first part of the Blog would be related to Tom and how he's feeling. Thursday, September 30, 2010. For those of you reading the Blog I'm sure you're interested in what the Oncologist had to say today. What came as a complete shock to both of us is that evidently Tom had two tumors. At least that's what the Oncologist told us today. I'm not sure if we just don't ask the right questions or if the physicians aren't forthcoming with information they should be telling us. It's frustrating but how do we ask the right questions if we don't know what to ask? Not much to report.

Monday, December 27, 2010. To update you on Tom - he is scheduled to start yet another round of Chemo beginning January 10, 2011. One week on, one off, back on. Monday, August 30, 2010. I know I said I would post on Sunday's but I'm posting today in hopes that someone will read the Blog. Tom was feeling pretty good yesterday, not great today. I keep praying he'll get stronger and healthier each day. I hope some of you are still reading the Blog because I believe the message is an important one. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. I have not posted for a long time so I'm not sure if anyone will ever read this but here goes anyway. It seems a little senseless to post since I can't report on Tom's progress anymore but it seems I have some things I would like to say. Monday, February 21, 2011. It wasn't a great week this week. If Tom does have one good day, several not so good days follow. A long time friend of Tom's called this week to check in. We haven't talked to him in a while. He was unaware of Tom's condition and was, needless to say, quite surprised and upset that he didn't know. He indicated that he wished someone had called him. Friday, March 9, 2012. 9:23 PM tomorrow will be one year since Tom passed away from his courageous battle with lung cancer. It seems like yesterday. How can you spend 2/3 of your life with someone and then they're gone? People continue to say things will get easier. They have no idea. I don't believe they get easier. Thursday, March 31, 2011. I'm not sure if anyone is reading the Blog anymore. I guess Tracking Tom's Progress doesn't seem appropriate, and yet for me, to know that he's gone is so unbearable at times that I can't seem to make myself change the name.
