Tuesday, April 22, 2014. We started our Easter activities early in April when we went to the Regional Park on the 2nd for a hunt with some friends. Then we hopped on over to visit the Easter bunny. And had a couple bites taken out of our chocolate ears. Before decorating huge cookies. Everett ate right through the middle and ended up with a LOT of frosting on his cheeks. Of course, since Emily is a sugar addict, she didn't want to see it go to waste and actually used her fingers to wipe it off.

Saturday, May 30, 2015. On Sunday, May 24th, Everett had a fall in his bedroom while jumping over Emily. They were to have a special "sleepover" in the room they already share (haha) but it was special because they were going to sleep in sleeping bags on the floor. His arm did not immediately swell up a bunch but by the time Mama saw it at almost midnight, Everett was in a lot of pain. The team was banded and ready to face whatever results came their way. Thursday, March 5, 2015. We were on a walk on March 4th when Everett found some purple statice. He said excitedly, "Look at this flower, Mama, it's beauty-full! It's like Emily cuz she is beauty-full.". He sure loves his big sister! But, the feeling is reciprocated because just the next day as we were leaving for school, Everett fell and cut open his head. Thursday, September 18, 2014. Bye, Bye, Binky. Everett's binky provided him comfort for over 3 years. He LOVED his binky and lovey together and if he was upset in the day he would tell me that he needed binkylovey. I asked him if he wanted to snip the binky on the 2nd, but he told me that he would be ready on the 3rd. So, that's when we pulled out the same giraffe scissors that snipped away Emily's binky tip and had him take care of business. After a few nips and snips, his binky was in 2 pieces. Grrr al...

Saturday, February 14, 2015. Everett has been WAITING and WAITING and WAITING for his chance to play a sport. He was too young for soccer last fall and he "technically" was too young for TBall this spring as well. BUT, he managed to sneak his way in and on January 31st, he had his first practice! After that first practice he lost his hat :( but Daddy took him to get some proper baseball gear. After a few weeks of Saturday and Sunday practices, it was time for a scrimmage! Wednesday, June 17, 2015. On April 3rd Emily and Everett went out to the backyard to dye Easter eggs. They got into character and watched the dye tabs bubble and fizz. They also enjoyed Bongos and a few laughs with Daddy and Eliza while they waited for them to fully dissolve. When it was finally time, Daddy and Mama just watched and took pictures. After SO Much dipping and re-dipping most of them ended up very similar in color but they made a nice Easter centerpiece - cracks and all. Those Things You Say.
