R. Prabhu's Notes: November 2010
http://rprabhu.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 07, 2010. Austere Avvaiyar - Part 1. To become the disciple of Agasthiar. The time of Agasthiar was about 5200 BC to 4000 BC. Though there were many Avvaiyars in different periods of time, their works exhibit the nature of the poets - simplicity, austerity and truth. Many verses, single lines from Avvaiyar's songs are quoted even today as a moral to represent virtue, humility and truth. For example, her words. Katradhu Kai Mann Alavu, Kalladhadhu Ulagalavu". More to come, until then.

A Matter of Perspective. Monday, October 16, 2006. Selected Quotations 5 . Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
