When I first moved to Playa and I walked around town, I started noticing a lot of Casas de Empeños. “What is that? The pictures are bad quality, I was trying to be incognito, the art had to suffer. The last restaurant I have been wanting to share is another local gem. El Faisan y El Venado is located on Benito Juarez, just under the highway and in an old hotel. Sounds fancy right? However, after you start traveling, saving every penny for little adventures, and trying to avoid leasing contracts; you end up with few other options than co-habitating with lots of people.
