How You Can Help. At the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, we have woodland caribou, Canada lynx, Rocky Mountain elk, mountain goats, Alaska Yukon moose, mule deer, muskoxen, wood bison, two varieties of thinhorn sheep (Dall's sheep and stone sheep), red foxes and arctic foxes in habitats suited to each species. Our animals have plentiful space, are well-cared for and healthy. Please admire, but do not touch or feed the animals. 2008 Yukon Wildlife Preserve.

How You Can Help. Orphaned female moose calf gets a future at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. At 9 months old visitors can now see the newest addition to the Preserve's wildlife residents family. Read the story here. YWP sends rehabilitated swans south for release. A tundra swan and trumpeter swan spent most of the winter at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve after they missed migration. How You Can Help. Halloween is for animals too! Trick or Treat - Halloween is celebrated by the animals too! Come dressed in your best and join some Halloween fun. Special animal feedings with the lynx and red fox starting at 1pm. Red Fox feeding at 2pm. All day "I Spy" activity - find all the hidden Halloween items around the back loop for extra treats. Bonfire and marshmallow roasting from Noon - 3:30pm at the carnivore corner on the back loop. Membership available to purchase. Race starts at 10:30am.
