It's Nice Living with Two Kittens. A month and a half ago, I adopted two kittens from a nearby animal shelter. I used to have a cat, but now he lives in my parents’ house. After visiting my friend who has two cats, I found that two sibling cats can live nicely together. That is when I decided that I wanted to adopt two sibling kittens someday. 湾と Yosemite の間くらいに、San Luis National Wildlife Refuge という場所があって、Elk アメリカアカシカ がいるらしい。 101 を Gilroy まで南下して、休憩がてらダウンタウンをぷらっと見学したあと、152 を東に向かって San Luis Reservoir という貯水湖に寄る。 Visitor Center のおっちゃんは暇そうで、水位は昔はあのへんまであった、とか、 Elk を見たいならこの先2分くらいのところにいると思う、一昨日見た、とかいろいろ教えてくれた。 途中、右手の草原に Elk がいたのが見えたけど、運転してたのでちらっとしか見えず、そのあと代わってもらって景色を見るのに専念したけどElk はいなかったので、気を取り直して目的地の San Luis NWR に向かう。 メインエントランスを入ってすぐのところに立派な Visitor Center があり、各種パンフレットや、ここで見られる野生生物たちの展示などがある。 Auto Tour Route という、車でめぐる見学ルートがふたつあるので、まずはそのふたつを行ってみることにする。
