I am in the process of finding ways to make healthier, yummier, and easier food. I will always be on the lookout for recipes that have that "yum-ability" that I am looking for. And as far as desserts, I hope to make it so that they are always worth it! As a general rule, I replace:. Whole Wheat Flour for White Flour in breads. 3/4 Olive Oil for 1 Butter. Yum-Ability: Spinach Parmesan Pasta

Monday, November 14, 2016. 8 oz uncooked pasta (we used whole wheat Capellini). 2 cloves garlic, minced. 5-6 cups packed baby spinach (about one bag). 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste. Add the pasta to a large pot of boiling salted water and cook until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Set pasta aside. Pour pasta into a large bowl. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and serve immediately. Posted by Brittany S. G.

Tuesday, September 20, 2016. 189; cups shortening. 1 tsp baking soda. 5 medium grated baking apples (about 2 cups). 189; cup evaporated milk. 189; cup butter. 1 Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well, scraping sides. 2 Sift together dry ingredients and gradually mix with the wet. Stir in apples until combined. 3 Bake at 350° for 45-55 min. Recipe courtesy of Hannah Holt.
