Well, I needed to import some pictures and was tired of plugging in the SLR and eating up its battery, so I did a “sudo mount -t msdos /dev/disk2s1 /tmp/card” … Aperture saw the pics, but didn’t show previews, and when I tried to do the import it failed, saying “/Volumes/card/EOS DIGITAL…blah.CR2 failed to import” . Hm! Aperture assumes whatever’s mounted must be under Volumes and have the volume name in it, huh? I unplug my card reader and plug it back in… Boom, card shows up! 8220;mount hfs” R...

Opus Restaurant, City Centre. Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve posted a review but we thought we’d return with a Christmas special. We perused through many Christmas menus and decided to try Opus Restaurant, located within the Colmore Business District. Opus Restaurant claims to source market fresh food and offered a traditional as well as modern take on a Christmas menu. Monday – Friday: 12pm – 2:30pm, 6pm – 10pm. Saturday: 6pm – 10pm. Our waitress was fantastic, perhaps the best service so far!
