A little set-back today got me really, well, set-back, today. Nothing starts me back up like a little baking and sweets. It didn't taste exactly like the brownies that I used to make with all the sugar, butter and eggs, but it wasn't bad. It tasted like chocolate-y bread, in a good way. Fun with Slow Cookers.

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Made yam rice minus the yams. It was pretty easy. Tasty too. Fried shallots, onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice, chicken stir fried and placed in rice cooker then cooked same way you'd cook normal rice. Monday, April 28, 2008. 3/4 lb chicken thighs. 1 2/3 cups soup stock (dashi) - used Gen En Dashi no moto 1 tbsp mixed w/ 1 2/3 cups of water. 7 tbsp soy sauce. Oyakodon is a Japanese chicken and egg bowl. I've been wanting to try out this recipe forever and I finally did! I got the recipe from About - Oyakodon. I was pretty happy with the recipe and very amazed I could make it. :). I also watched this video Oyakodon video - Cooking with Dog (:D well he's not cooking the dog just with him :) haha ).

The reviews on Centerstage were all positive and we were feeling adventurous this day. And, I forgot to bring the camera because I was starving and my brain ceases to function when I'm hungry.
