Hand Rendered Type | Routine and Distraction
http://routineanddistraction.blogspot.com/2010/03/hand-rendered-type.html
I am really enjoying our Type as Image module. I've never been very interested in typography, I mean I know what I like and what I dont, and I was never bothered about LEARNING. This project is getting us to create our own type with whatever materials we fancy [ IN KEEPING WITH THE THEME OF COURSE. LOVE IT. And I got textiles. Gotta admit, I wanted paper, but I wouldn't be challenging myself if I got that. Everyone knows I like paper-goods. Here's some ideas so far. By Graph Paper Press.

Currently I am sitting in the new waterfront building on my laptop ready for a study session. HA. I will admit that this is indeed the first time I have been in during a holiday to work. The Learning Centre hasn't much actual workspace [ DESKS FOR OUR MANY PROJECTS. Which is a shame, as I really enjoy the working atmosphere. I feel like a real student! By Graph Paper Press.

Dear Typography | Routine and Distraction
http://routineanddistraction.blogspot.com/2010/03/dear-typography.html
We're looking alot at Typography this semester, with two classes involving it at the moment. This is something I didn't know about, or was really bothered about it. I am a changed girl. I always knew it was a fundamental part of Graphic Design [ DOY. But what I didn't realise was that there are alot of interesting things that come with it. And I've noticed that I'm noticing more typography in life! Love this by The Birds and The Beasts. FOUND VIA DESIGN IS MINE BLOG. By Graph Paper Press.

In the Deep | Routine and Distraction
http://routineanddistraction.blogspot.com/2010/03/in-deep.html
This is something I'm working on for. It's a hand rendered title 'logo' for my TV documentary called DEEP. The show is about the luminescent creatures that live reeeally deep in the oceans, so I was trying to create a glowing and elegant kind of 'font', made up from the jellyfish tentacles. The class crit went well, with most people agreeing with the elegant feel.however one guy said it looked like it was for children [ AS OPPOSED TO THE OLDER AUDIENCE I WAS GOING FOR. These are two out of four of the final pieces I did for. I love surf style, lizards .and patterns, of course. This is the final for our. Project, in which I redesigned a double page spread from Ideal Homes using student digs [ MY STUDIO. Okay, this isn't my final for. But I was happy. I made a cupcake and a fortune cookie =].

The only things that will distract me will be odd things that relate to univeristy business.and worth the note.
