Was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on April 12, 1976. He. Received the B.S. degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering and M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico, in 2001 and 2003, respectively, and received the PhD. degree in Communications and Signal Theory at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2010. He is currently an associate professor and the Master's academic program administrator.
