Just another WordPress.com site. 13 months →. November 29, 2010. Having been there before is not taking anything away from the experience of going there again. This is baby O’s journey. We’re so excited to be a part of it, while our hearts break for the events that will lead to us meeting her. And having been there before means that we know how little we’ll get done once she’s home. Which is why tomorrow the “Before-Baby-Comes-Home-To-Do-List” will really kick into gear. Or at least be edited.

Laquo; Ethiopia Day #3. January 8, 2012. Resting from the journey down the mountain with 100 pounds of firewood. After sleeping all day Bella was feeling well enough to go to Kechene. Kechene is the government run orphanage in Ethiopia for older girls. A group from Washington was providing the girls with a pizza party. They also brought little goody bags. These girls were so excited! The kids were pretty tired after the orphanage visit. We sat and tried to process what we had seen…but, not sure...You are...
