Wednesday, August 8, 2012. A Summer Full of Rainbows and Penguins! As I type I am in ABQ Sunport International Airport! Originally my flight was set to leave at 10:45am and I would be back home petting my puppy around 7:00pm.but, they had to rearrange flights so now my plane leaves at 2:20pm and I will get home to my puppy at 11:00pm (Thank goodness they have free wifi! Tuesday, July 17, 2012. National Solar Observatory and Apache Point Road Trip! So, 5 of us Summer NRAO students went out to both the National Solar Observatory and Apache Point Observatory to visit some of the best telescope in the world! Also, to end the day trip we stopped by White Sands National park (the largest deposit of Gypsum sand) to sled down the sand dunes and have a picnic!
