We usually go to Natchitoches for the Festival of Lights but were unable to go this year so this will officially open our Christmas season. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. This is the place where we stayed. It was just a short walk down to the water. We really enjoyed beach combing in the early morning hours. Talk about relaxing! I absolutely love these pictures of the girls! They look so young! We drove over to Florida one afternoon just so Holly and I could say that we've been there. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. WOW I cannot believe it has been over a month since I posted last. We have been so busy around here time just flies by. We planted some tomatoes earlier and they are really starting to grow. It is so exciting. My first tomatoes.that is sad huh? Oh well you gotta start somewhere. Friday, July 11, 2008. Happy 13th Birthday Heidi. Today was Heidi's 13th birthday.doesn't seem possible that my little girl is a teenager. Now I have two teenagers in the house.look out. We took her out to eat tonight to Chef Roy's then went by DQ and got her an ice cream cake. Tomorrow we are having a party for her here at the house with more cake and ice cream. Monday, March 15, 2010. We were very excited that God opened the door for Dave and Josh to join a medical team in Honduras for a week. It was truly a life changing trip for both of them. I'm really happy that they got to go, but I'm even happier that they are home in one piece! This is the view from the end of the runway at the mission station. Beautiful scenery! Some of the team members with Daniel Melton, the resident missionary at San Luis. One of those special, heart-tugging moments. Your turn, Josh!

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Some of my favorite photos of the month! We visited the Creation Museum after our week in Dayton. Dave's sister, Sarah was able to take the day and be with us. Thursday, August 6, 2009. We spent Friday night in Idaho Falls reconnecting with our precious friends from med school days, Mark and Danielle Hinkson. Danielle and I spent many hours cooking and crafting together while our men were buried in the books. It was wonderful to be with them again!
