Friday, October 30, 2009. Confessions of my pregnancy hormones. A day with no kids and no husband.and what am I doing? Laundry. Even the day-to-day things of being a stay-at-home-mom can be somewhat pleasurable if one can do them uninterrupted. And, as the house remains quiet, I'm alone with my thoughts. No naked first pictures. Things I’m going to miss:. 1 The potential to sleep all night…at least for the first few months. Things I’m not going to miss so much:. 2 To have people no longer come and pat my...

Alaskan Magees: April 2010

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Fame in her future. Our baby girl just might be made for Hollywood if she continues to resemble stars such as these. Sadie vs. Master Yoda: The ears are the biggest resemblance, but the lack of hair is another comparable feature. Sadie vs. Al Bundy: I don't think I need to point out the resemblance here. Who needs sleep, right? Until Mommy turns around again - THEN we're happy. I feel sooooo loved. She's remained a healthy baby, other than a little runny nose here and there. ...

Saturday, August 29, 2009. A few pics from Carter's birthday party:. Watching Thomas drive on the track. And I'll huff and I'll puff. Very happy birthday boy. His prized present, James (another Thomas character). Checking out the bug barn Grandpa Don made (it now houses a moth). Apparently Carter's decided he likes birthdays. Here's our conversation on the way home from preschool the day after:. Carter: I can’t wait to have another birthday! Did you have fun on your birthday? For those that have trouble ...

Alaskan Magees: September 2009
http://alaskanmagees.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I actually am not scared of having a baby at home, but with this being a VBAC, it wouldn't be ideal. So, you can all pray that I have at least a 5-hour labor or so.just to ease my Type A mind! Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Just logged into our blog and caught the baby countdown…yikes…only 74 days left to vote (and that was allowing people to vote up until 10 days past our due date). Suffice it to say, I’m beginning to enter…. The “freaking out” zone. Get some sleep already!

Alaskan Magees: July 2009
http://alaskanmagees.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. A hypocrite, I am. Of all the things that surprise me the most about motherhood, it’s how many times I’ve had my ideas about parenting change once I actually experience a certain phase with our kids. What could he possibly need at 2:00 a.m? It has its challenges.). We have once again been spared the drama of a little girl (which is probably for the best; Ryan and I could NOT agree on a girl name! We’ve also nearly completed moving the boys downstairs. I have most of thei...So we'l...

Alaskan Magees: March 2012
http://alaskanmagees.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Since every single one of my posts could fittingly be titled "Catch Up", I'll work with a little play on words since the red condiment mentioned above is a favorite in our house. March is nearly over, two of our kids have celebrated another year of life, Christmas is long past, and we're just coming out of Spring Break. Must be time for an update. Trick-or-treating as only Alaskans can do. Birthday of a princess. Very proud of her new rocking chair from Grandma Jan. Out on the cat...

Watching the light parade from the back of the car. Spreadin' some Christmas cheer! A BAAAAADDD Hair day:. There's only one thing to do when the day starts off with hair like this:. Take pictures to document the locks in all their glory. And catalog how they progress throughout the day, despite being wet down and brushed. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Logan's...

A Day in the Life: June 2010
http://averyw.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Memorial Day Weekend 2010. Played in the driveway in the water (sprinkler) in the front yard. On the beach with Daddy. Taking "baby" for a swim. The Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. Playing in the sand with "baby" in Myrtle Beach. Easter Egg Hunt at Church. Avery went to her first Easter Egg hunt.
