Check out especially the McMurrin and Madsen (Truman) entries. (Truman Madsen listed on the faculty as having a Ph.D. two years before he ever received it? Good stuff all the way through. I was amazed at how I felt transported into a foreign time and place to witness a brutal tale of survival and conquest. The only other movie to achieve this feat in a similar matter is Terrence Malick’s. Passion of the Christ. This scene made me not hungry.
