Opisany niżej incydent jest jedną z zapomnianych tragedii jaka wydarzyła się na szlakach kolejowych Dolnego Śląska po 1945 roku. W poniższym poście przedstawie krótki tekst na temat tego wypadku. Poniżej lista wypadków kolejowych na linii 283 ; Odcinek Jelenia Góra - Lwówek Śląski od 1945 roku. 3 sierpnia 1977 roku, przy wylocie tunelu na osiedlu południowym we Wleniu doszło do zderzenia. 2 pociągów, rannych zostało 20 osób.
