Zack's Diving Blog

Saturday, October 11, 2008. Fort Wetherill and King's Beach. Jamestown and Newport, Rhode Island. Brian Richburg and I went down to Rhode Island to hunt for tropical fish. Weather conditions were good and had been good for a while, but Fort Wetherill's visibility was very poor. Since Brian had forgotten the dive flag we decided not to try to dive the wall outside the cove. Instead we came in and went to King's Beach after being told the other cove had 3' visibility. Zack's Diving Blog: King's Beach

http://zackss-diving.blogspot.com/2008/10/kings-beach.html

Saturday, October 4, 2008. King's Beach Fishing Area, Newport, Rhode Island. King's Beach is a nice little diving area on a dirt road off Ocean Ave. in Newport. Parking is quite close to the beach and you can easily suit up at the car and walk down. Brian and I caught two spotfin butterflyfish. And I donated them to Tropic Isle Aquarium. The next day (to join my previous catch). Brian's catch was truly tiny, perhaps the size of a nickle at most. King's Beach (Dive 1). Had some initial trouble finding the...

Zack's Diving Blog: August 2008

http://zackss-diving.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Halibut Point, Rockport, Massachusetts. To get to the Sea Rocks area, follow the road that runs to the right as you look back toward the parking hut. It will turn into a dirt road, and from there stay toward the right (unless that right is someone's driveway). The Sea Rocks area are a number of large slabs of stone, that make setting up easy, but the rocks can be slick and the entrance hard when the sea is rough. Halibut Point - Sea Rocks (Dive 1). Saturday, August 23, 2008.

Zack's Diving Blog: June 2008

http://zackss-diving.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 28, 2008. Corporation Beach, Dennis, Massachusetts. The weather was warm and humid with overcast skies and winds from the south-southwest, so the northern-facing beach had little surf. During the dive we saw a large number of sting rays and spider crabs along with smaller fish and a few crabs and comb jellyfish. The dive was very. Shallow, but the bottom had a good variety between rocks, sea weed, and sea grass. Surprisingly, despite the overcast skies, we didn't see any lobster. Shark's C...

http://neuromancerzss.livejournal.com/tag/hawaii

Jan 9th, 2009 @ 09:58 pm. So for those who don't know, I'm going ahead with my planned move to Hawai'i. At the end of this month, I will be leaving my Waltham apartment, and then sometime in the next couple weeks will make the flight over. An incomplete list of things I will be giving away:. Going to my mother. Going to my sister. Going to Alison's brother-in-law. Large L shaped corner desk. Tables of various shapes and sizes. A 4-person kitchen table, with 4 chairs. 2 folding card tables. A Series 2 TiVo.

Zack's Rocks

Hand Carved. Compelling Faces. Sandstone carving is an ancient activity where pieces of rough natural stone are shaped by the controlled removal of stone. Owing to the permanence of the material, stone work has survived which was created during our prehistory. The process begins with the selection of a stone for carving. Zack uses the stone itself as inspiration. Working to free the form trapped inside the Stone itself.
