Wednesday, February 8, 2012. I made Balsamic Chicken tonight and it was a big hit with my family. I super simplified it- 6 chicken breasts, some shakes of italian seasoning, a can of diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar. Throw it all in the crockpot and cook all afternoon. My kids ate theirs over rice but I had mine over green beans and it was awesome! Plus it makes your house smell amazing! Can I tell you the scale is stuck again for now nearly 2 weeks? Monday, July 13, 2009. Zac took a class on how to make video games. He has had the program at home for about a year and uses it quite a bit so he was maybe the most advanced in the class. The teacher had a competition and Zac's game won. Pretty cool. We just got back from a weekend in NYC. I was presenting a workshop at Bereaved Parents of the USA at a hotel out in Queens. Sunday, January 3, 2010. We had plans with Ros to visit National Harbor. It is a newish area with lots of shops including a Peeps! Store This is where they moved the Awakening statue. It was so freezing cold with a biting wind. The original intention had been to iceskate but we couldn't be outside for more than a few minutes. Zoe refused to wear any kind of hat. We will go back when it is not so frigid. I tried the Kung Pao tofu and it was pretty darn good. A good day spent with some of my favorite people.
