Sunday, January 18, 2009. We went for along walk today exploring the center or Rome. And I mean a long walk. Longer than walking to the Vatican. The mission was to go the the four fountains of Quattro Fontaine and we stopped at some places along the way. This first place, which I forget, but I will reference later is in the picture below. Then we explored Lecce a little in the daytime – I got to push Sarah around in her wheelchair, which was fun. 13:00 Everyone but three on the bus. Waiting. Bus leaves eventually for Matera. After Rome was over, I headed to Amsterdam and met up with Sarah at the hostel. I could of had a better time arriving. rain. broken suitecase. confusing sidewalks/roads/bikepaths/tram rails. but the sun shown when I saw Sarah arriving to the hostel right after me. Mo joined us a day later. Flower shop. hung dried flowers. I have an obsession with moving clouds.
