Wishing everyone a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving! I love the idea of having a day which has no other purpose other than to be joyful and full of gratitude, when it's expected that we be conscious of the wondrousness of it all. Keeping up with the Jones': November 2009
http://babyjones2008.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Jones'. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Kyle's friend, a.k.a Uncle Jimmy, was nice enough to use his Navy ID Card to get us all into Knott's this past weekend, which was a total blast! I used to think only tourist took photos like this at theme parks and in my, I'm 15 and know everything, days I would make fun of these people! I'm thinking the big rocks and pretty waterfall is better viewed from a far. Typical, me and my self portrait shots. Jimmy won her a puppy, how sweet is he! The mon...

The First: 100 days of Change | Phatabulous
https://phatzapper.wordpress.com/about
Every day is the beginning. The First: 100 days of Change. The First: 100 days of Change. What is this all about? One day in life you get to a point where you look back a few or 20 years and say where did that youthful, limber person go who could eat the worst of foods, drink the worst of drinks for days and weeks and months on end and still look good and feel good every day. I reached that point. Actually I’ve reached it several times. This is my attempt at creating something that lasts long term:.

Every day is the beginning. The First: 100 days of Change. Going back to basics. Perhaps it’s all the 1’s in today’s date – and needing to look out for #1. Perhaps it’s that I’ve just left home for what promises to be a whirlwind seven months – and need to return in better form than I departed. Perhaps it’s just that I need to get my ass in shape before I die. I’ll call it all that. 11/1/11 to 5/28/12 = 209 days. Thus, Day 1 – The beginning. 30 minutes elliptical, 1.5 miles distance, approx 290 cal.

Waiting for Lia Riyani: Update of Sorts
http://meanttobe-cc.blogspot.com/2009/04/update-of-sorts.html
Waiting for Lia Riyani. The four of us are anxiously awaiting the day we become a fivesome. Sunday, April 12, 2009. No real news. Some new pictures though. Thanks Jyoti! I've been sort of semi- absent from the online world of late, partly by design and partly by chance. Reading and thinking too much about India or the adoption world makes me a bit too emotional these days (believe it or not I haven't even bought a thing for travel or for Lia in weeks- unusual for me who finds comfort in planning! Ours wi...

Waiting for Lia Riyani: March 2009
http://meanttobe-cc.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Waiting for Lia Riyani. The four of us are anxiously awaiting the day we become a fivesome. Thursday, March 26, 2009. A Lesson in Humility. Well, today is the day we didn't. Well, reality check, it did. We are now on the train of missed court dates- we hope it's a short one since it's a depressing ride. So, on this "one of those days", that if I'm honest, makes me want to crawl into bed and start over again tomorrow, I've had to find strength and hope even though I didn't really want to. And this my frie...
