Chickens at Zaltana Anatolians. Everything about my chickens. Saturday, September 19, 2009. Roosters growing up,. Loves to crow all day long. Sir Olliver sitting on the garbage can, I have noticed that all 3 of these little roosters love to take up high spots to crow. Goldie, I wish the Seabrights would come in a larger size too, they are just so pretty to look at. Little Goldie coming of age too, he is starting to flirt with the hens, but so far they aren't impressed. My 4 Black Jersey Giant pullets.

Watch out, this is Henzilla, the attack hen, seriously this hen acts almost like a rooster and attacks me on occasion, she is just not quite as dangerous in her attacks, but nonetheless, this is annoying. Saturday, March 24, 2007. Wendy and the Anatolians,. We had a little visitor today. Wendy is an 11 week old Airedale Terrier who lives in Las Vegas. She and Ayla had a good time, Ayla was very gentle with her and Wendy took it all in stride, lots of things to explore. It always amazes me how Ayla immediately picks up on it if another dog isn't quite sure what to do. She was just very calm and seemed to enjoy just hanging out with the little puppy. Monday, September 30, 2013. With Teddy at Red Rock Canyon. Wild burros enjoying the "lush" desert. Even when it wasn't very hot today, the burros seemed to enjoy the shade from the yoshua trees. Lots of little yellow flowers on the hillside. We were hiking through a wash here near Calico Basin, which is on the other side of the big red rock formation seen on the other pictures. I found this beautiful little rock. Teddy in a deep wash that exposes the ground of the desert. Comments: Post a Comment.

Monday, September 18, 2006. Update on my Anatolian Ayla's tricks. In my first posting about her tricks she wasn't able to hold the sit pretty position, but she was very enthusiastic about trying. Now she is able to keep her balance much better and she can really sit pretty as can be seen on this picture. She is also doing great with her bow when I step back a few steps. Sunday, September 16, 2007. Midget is our newest addition, we really need more milk and she is a Saanen goat, probably not purebred, but looks like a Saanen, her daddy is a purebred Saanen buck. She is a very sweet girl and we are happy to have her. Thanks Ann and Bill for letting us have Midget. Midget is a standard size goat, though she is not the biggest Saanen, however she is a lot bigger than my Nigerian Dwarfs. Midget meets Buffy and Mira. Moqui sunning herself on top of the crate.

Sunday, September 08, 2013. The wild games continue. Ayla in the foreground zooming by just turned 8 years old, Leydi who is the red dog on the right is Leydi who will be 10 years old next month. Here she is playing with her son Teddy, daughter Cici on the left and Ayla, who is not related. They play every morning and every evening, Leydi just loves those games with her kids. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Look who was sunning herself in my driveway! It was a chilly 53 degrees this morning. I saw this snake in front of my garage when it had warmed up to 83 degrees. The snake must have been cold because she did not budge, even when I got as close as 3 feet and walking around it while taking pictures. He was found wandering the streets of Las Vegas and nobody came to claim him. So we know nothing about his past. He adores children, so it is very likely that he once was a beloved family pet.
