Most alcoholics find it impossible to help themselves or to have others help them before hitting rock bottom for themselves. Only then do they believe they have a problem. When Zane was first invited aboard the Fratpad ship, it had not hit rock bottom so management was not really convinced that it needed as much help as it did.
