I was looking forward to getting up at 6 in the morning to roll over to newark and race in the pouring rain/30m.p.h. winds at Branchbrook in the notoriously sketchy early season fields. I haven't updated in awhile because nobody could care less, but i've decided to do updates for big races/stage races and stuff. So here goes. The National Festival was in Seven Springs Pennsylvania in the Seven Springs resort, which was pretty much the only civilization we saw the entire time. It was nice (sort of) and there were plenty of things to do(sort of). After the road race, competely horribly blown.

It was looking to be super fun, with temperatures in the 80's and a really strong field. Ricky and I came into the race with high ambitions; I guess both of us felt pretty good and the course was super fun. Anyways. Toughed it out like a true champ. Monday, April 21, 2008.
