A Smudge On The Collective Unconscious. There is no off position on the genius switch. Friday, May 17, 2013. Race Report: 04.27.2013 Leona Divide 50 Mile Trail Race. Perhaps the biggest news to emerge from my first ultramarathon apart from finishing it (yay! I went into the race feeling very anxious, an anxiety I hadn't experienced since I ran my first marathon eight years ago. But now that it's done I still can't believe that I ran fifty miles and it turned out as well as I could have hoped. Me on the W...

GronkBlog: Sunday, bloody Sunday
http://gronkblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/sunday-bloody-sunday.html
Sunday, bloody Sunday. The Running Gods have taken someone else from me today. Today they took a friend of 35 years. I met Andrew in 3rd Class and we have remained firm friends till this very day. Andrew died in his sleep, assisted by a bout of pneumonia. When I spoke to him last week he was trying to put some cash together to spend Xmas with us in Switzerland. Friends Until The End. We used to talk. We used to laugh. We were best of friends. I thought that's how it would always be. You taught me so much.

The Badgerland 'Road' Scholar: The Oddities of Running
http://badgerlandroadscholar.blogspot.com/2009/03/oddities-of-running.html
The Badgerland 'Road' Scholar. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The Oddities of Running. After being taken a back for a brief moment, I just had to laugh and respond in kind by saying "Good morning" but with out the expletive. I tell you, the things that I sometimes see. While the past few runs I didn't come across any scholarship award winners. They were also very appreciative that I took the time and effort to look for the dog and to check to see if it was found. Today's workout: 5.1 miles 43:03 8:27 pace.
