The concert choir does this thing at the end of the year, where everyone goes around and talks about how the seniors inspired them, and made them feel welcome and stuff, and then they sing a blessing over us. Thoughts on a page. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. I sit here writing this evening, and I struggle to put into words what is drifting through my head. Usually when I sit before my keyboard, the text flows freely and my emotions are captured in textual permanence. But tonight, that isn't the case. So I start with a simple hmmm. Life is filled with twists and turns, surprises and certainties. So many have tried to understand, to make sense of the curves that the future holds for us. And the list goes on.
