We fried the filleted red roman in butter with a dusting of seasoned flour (put the fillets and flour in a plastic tub and shake it all up). It was surprisingly tasty considering that it had been frozen for quite a while. A great tip we were given was to defrost frozen fish in salt water to help bring out the flavour. For the recipe. Get me outta here! Ten ladies cooking for the love of it. This recipe came from a friend of Adri’s. 2 cups whipped cream. Scour out orange flesh and turn upside down to drain. Discard flesh. Beat sugar and egg yolks till creamy. Add liqueur and lastly fold in whipped cream. Fill orange shells and freeze until required. Place a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a touch of oil for frying. Using a ladle, pour the mixture evenly over the base of the pan. We were extremely lucky to organise a course in French pastry making by a very talented young pastry chef from Johannesburg, Else Roome. It was a full day of baking and we ended up with the most beautiful looking creations. The whole process gave us renewed respect for pastry chefs who spend hours painstakingly creating beautiful patisserie only for them to be devoured in minutes! Ready for a day of baking!

This is the backup site of Zebra Hosting. We use this one for announcements when the main site is down. We are going to complete the maintenance on the Plesk Server Between Wednesday 10. September 2300 CEST (GMT 2) and Thursday 11. September 0400 CEST. This maintenance will require that we migrate the Plesk server to Ubuntu 14.04 which should fix some of the current issues we face. During this time there will be a switch over period which may result some data loss to MySQL but we will try minimize this.
