My recent trip to Caldwell made me think about the old Eddies Bread signs we saw in our youth while driving in the country to visit Uncle Boyd in Meridian,Aunt Elda or the Hansens in Middleton. We used to count them along the way. I always wondered Did the posted sign mean the Farmers family ate Eddies Bread. Now I wonder if they grew wheat for the company. Oh well, we still have the pink toilet and tub. Do these colors remind you of the 50's? Our home was built in 1955-56. Thanks Uncle Richard for getting a new sink put in that doesn't leak. What is it that brings me to a screeching halt and I back up or I slam on the brakes and turn around to take a photo. There is always a reason, a particular item that attracts my attention. Foibles of Life by Angela I. Nielson. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Every time I go to our home Caldwell I try to photo document another item. This time I shot the stairwell, don't want to every forget the stairwell with it's baby gate, ( now grandma gate) Please don't go downstairs. Also the basement view. Many a child has banged their hands against the wooden poles while running up and the down stairs. We also have escaped the hands of the boogie monster through the poles going up the stairs at night.
