Frying is not something I've been able to do. I once tried to make tempura vegetables, followed the recipe to the teeth.and ended up with slimy oil-drenched veggies and a crumby mess in my kitchen. Since I discovered quality spices in bulk I've had a jumble of plastic baggies (sometimes unmarked because I'm lazy and over-confident in my spice sniffing abilities).
