I would always tell myself that I would complete it when I find the time but when the time comes, I would be building someone else's rod instead of mine. LOL. The quality of the fiberglass blank has improve tremendously compared to those I got a few years back. Found that the exposed blank at the split butt section abit too thin. So, I added a small section of carbon tube and 2 dimpled winding check to finish off to the cork grip and butt section. Spiral guide placement for this tiny rod. Jungle cock feather for alignment marker. MHX 6'6" 12-25lb Heavy Lifter. I managed to finish a couple of rods before closing.

Planned almost 4 months ago, a standard heavy cover bait casting rod and additional design added along the way. Simple components. Fuji TCS reel seat custom painted gloss black, fuji rubber gimbal, aluminium extended and custom shaped CAMO EVA split handle. Used CRB 12-25lb 7' blank for this rod. Test fitting handle before gluing up. Black fuji guides with duo tone metallic wrapping. Rod decal after epoxy.
