Tuesday, 16 June 2009. The final quote Ill share to close out this first cycle of 108 days [the Remix] comes from a book called To Shine One Corner of the World. It contains short stories and recollections of the teachings of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi to his students:. Once I asked Suzuki Roshi, What is nirvana? He repliad: Seeing one thing through to the end. What a price for this gift! When she says "I am afraid", she is the fear. When she suffers from physical pain, she is the pain. When she cries saying "I will miss my children", she is impermanence. Nothing exists eternally, everything changes all the time. Even people. Whatever one is sticking to, it will change and vanish some time. Everythin that exists ist not perfect, to live is to suffer. The possibility of the end of suffering is shown by Gautama in his Four Noble Truths. There is no seperated I, Soul or Existence.
