Pipes Tutorial - An example using the Fetch Page module to make a web scraper. A new Fetch Page module which dramatically increases the number of useful things that Pipes can do. With this new pipe input module we're no longer restricted to working with well-organised data sets in supported formats such as CSV, RSS, Atom, XML, JSON, iCal or KML. Now we can grab any HTML page we like and use the power of the Regex module to slice and dice the raw text into shape. Pipes into a fully fledged web scraping.

My name is not Lain. 8212; iain @ 22:44:39. My name is not Lain it is Iain. Alpha India November not. I can forgive people writing my name as. It’s the more common spelling and even if you know I use the variation you can instinctively write Ian, though admittedly I am significantly more forgiving of people who have never emailed or written to me before because they don’t have the correct spelling. Right there in front of them. Lain, however, is infuriating. If you are even considering writing. You must ...

https://www.daybarr.com/blog/css-resets-and-grids
CSS Resets and Grids. As promised in my last post. Introducing the website redesign, I'd like to expand on the various projects that I've used to put this together. Today I'll start with the CSS framework. Firstly, I use Eric Meyer's CSS Reset. And not making sure that the bottom margin of that level three header in your sidebar is the same height in IE as it is in Firefox. Which is well worth the read if you're not familiar with CSS resets. Hellip; I could attempt to make use of a tool like Sass. Are hi...

8212; iain @ 10:24:35. I had some fun getting libvirtd. To work with GSSAPI. It looked like it should be easy but documentation was thin on the ground and some key points were glossed over. Eventually I did figure it out. Here’s how. The first step is to configure. To accept connections secured with GSSAPI. That means it needs to listen on a TCP port, which it won’t do by default. On my Fedora system that was rectified by editing. And uncommenting the line:. This ensures the –listen. Flag is passed to.

All hail the drops. 8212; iain @ 15:18:44. This morning for the first time since Tuesday I woke up without my eyes feeling like they were full of grit. Even when they did over the past few days the myriad bottles of eyedrops helped. I felt physically tired all last week, though, so I’m hoping that will improve as well. 8212; iain @ 21:47:04. 8212; iain @ 20:36:43. Filed under: Rebecca in the UK. 8212; iain @ 12:06:12. Rebecca and I have a curious ritual whenever we leave the flat. Unless she’s taking (one of) her handbag(s) with her she will proudly announce that she isn’t carrying any money or her keys, presumably as a reminder to me that I need to make sure that. Am Of course she always waits until after we’ve left before saying this. Shoulda listened to me…. Filed under: Rebecca in the UK. 8212; iain @ 11:47:39. She nodded. I carried on walking. 8212; iain @ 05:56:43. The next release of NSSM. Will be version 2.16 and it will include a feature which has been requested a number of times over the years, namely the ability to redirect the standard I/O streams which UNIX users know as. Surely getting an application to redirect its output would be easy. In fact I discovered:. You have to explicitly pass the filehandles to. You have to explicitly tell. That the filehandles are inheritable when launching a child process. You have to explicitly tell.
