Yesterday I watched my fellow classmates present great and interesting stories which led them to their research (some true, some not so true, some sad and some even heartbreaking) and as I rode on my 2 hour train trip back I reminisced of what got me into banking in the first place…. A few years back (will not tell you how many! I booked the trip using Expedia. A few days before we left and headed to the big apple on a Friday morning!

When I run a Google search on customer loyalty there are hundreds, if not thousands of articles returned. In my particular area of research I’m interested in the antecedents to customer loyalty. 8211; or what comes first. To understand what antecedents are, I like to compare them to a cake. Just like the cake….could we do without the flour? Or maybe the sugar? And the stories keep coming.
