Fault: System failed to load up explorer.exe after startup, resulting in a blank screen(black screen) after booting. Started Task manager via Ctrl Alt Del and executed explorer.exe manually. Laptop continued to boot as normal. Suspected system files bug, owner preferred to reformat the system because of the hassle of going into task manager and executing explorer.exe time and again. The AMD fanboy decided to move on to intel. Posted in 5:33 PM. Looking at the fact that the core i7 920 has got lots of headroom for overclocking, I have decided to base my next build on x58 chipset, Socket LGA1366 Core I7 instead of the AMD 790FX chipset. Firstly, ICH10R Southbridge chipset owns the SB750. Looking at the fact that I'm using 2 SSDs in Raid 0, ICH10R would be preferred. Why Rampage II Extreme? Both SLI and Crossfire enabled. Why not? But it's really costly i must say. 2x OCZ Vertex 30GB.
