I admire how crows and other city birds, (along with animals like raccoons, coyotes, possums etc) are able to live so successfully in our paved, grey, seemingly-barren cities. But I wonder, do they look around them and recognize the dullness of billboard advertisements, freeway interchanges and corrugated iron?
