Thursday, May 04, 2006. Middle East in Makati. In the course of trying to stay away from carbs, I've found that Persian (or, to be more accurate, Middle-Eastern) seems to fit the bill, thank you very much. While there's always the ubiqitous Cafe Med, which seems slightly more Grecian in bias than most, there are a couple of one-off restaurants (and oh, how I love those) in the Makati area that I'd like share with you. As an alternative, try Ziggurat. We also had some kebabs, beef and duck (this was new)&...

another one bites the dust: Middle Eastern Food
http://another-one-bites-the-dust.blogspot.com/2005/09/middle-eastern-foodin-middle-of-night.html
In the middle of the night. If I get a sudden craving for Middle Eastern food in the middle of the night I have 2 choices Behrouz and Ziggurat. We’ve got ordering down to an art and any of us could order for the group once we got seated. Beef, Tomato and Onion. Ground beef drowning in spice and oil. This is great with rice, and when I eat this I add some yogurt and chili sauce to the mix. Liver, Tomato and Onion. And is soft and chewy in the middle. Beef cubes grilled on skewers, best if not overcooked.

Feed Me, Philippines! The Best Filipino Food in Town? By priyaekrishna , 3:50 AM. So my past experience with filipino food was.not the best. It's not that I didn't love it, I just wasn't head over heels in love with it like I am with say, Ziggurat (bestfoodevernobigdealbutreally.). But two of our family friends were here, and my mom wanted to take them out to an "authentic" filipino meal. Apparently, the best place to do that was a popular joint called Abe. For an appetizer, I ordered the Atsarang Papaya...

Philippine's Ultimate Guide to Restaurants: Experience with an Arabian
http://restoguide.blogspot.com/2006/03/experience-with-arabian.html
Philippine's Ultimate Guide to Restaurants. Friday, March 17, 2006. Experience with an Arabian. It was a busy day in Makati some two years ago. An Arabian asked me if I can be interviewed for a potential overseas stint as an office staff. Confident with my exposure in offices for quite some time, I agreed. A fulfilling experience that I started exploring everything Arabian. What surprised me was this resto at the heart of Makati named Ziggurat Cuisine. I first saw this resturant being featured on F!
