Pinsrap's Plot: July 2007
http://pinsrapsplot.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 12, 2007. In the summertime (supposedly). The French beans are slowly catching up, after a very slow start (and a few nibbles from some unwanted guests), and are now starting to flower. The courgettes have suffered slightly however with the wet weather, and a couple have succumbed to blossom end rot. These have been cut off the plant, and the rest seem to be doing ok. Well, that’s it for now. Paula and I are on holiday next week, so weather permitting, we will be spending all week on t...
Pinsrap's Plot: May 2006
http://pinsrapsplot.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 14, 2006. The plot of the unknown vegetable. With this plot prepared, it was time to plant it, so out came the tray of plants donated by my neighbour. Unfortunately, we do not know what these plants are. He had his granddaughter at the plot the other day, who decided to play with the plant labels, so they are either cabbage or sprouts, but who knows. I suppose I will found out when they grow. Well, that's about it for this week. See you soon. Posted by Pinsrap at 3:51 PM. Monday, May 01, 2006.
Pinsrap's Plot: April 2006

Sunday, April 23, 2006. Posted by Pinsrap at 4:32 PM. Saturday, April 01, 2006. Well, thought I would join in with Paul and Dave, and give you an idea of what I look like, so one self portrait. Anyway, an update. The greenhouse is fully glazed at last, all it needs now are some seeds to germinate (or failing that, for me to buy some tomato plants from Strikes). But there is plenty of time for them to come through. Also managed to get hold of a sheet of perspex from work, so now have a window in the shed,...

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. The Miracle has happened. The miracle has happened the Hubby has arrived at the Lottie. He could not understand why I wanted his picture, so I told him I always take the camera to the Lottie with me in case I see anything unusual and this counts as 1 of those times I think. Here is the strange sight of the hubby on the Lottie. Whatever will I find next? Yes please. Even better still Sven Wombwell. He is so cute. Anyway I will go now.

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. The latest News From Me. Well hello all,. A long time since my last post, well things have been busy. With a wedding and the bad weather and me doing lots of overtime at work things have just been left to their own devices again. But as I have said in earlier posts This Year will be different. I have put in some runner beans again but I still have more to put in yet. As you can see I have swapped the spuds and peas and beans around for t...

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. It is that time of year again; what with finishing the digging and starting to plant out this years seeds and plants, when do we have time to stop and do anything else. Well I managed to get to the Lottie today for a couple of hours, first time since the end of Feb, due to work and weather conditions. Having cleared some of the rubbish and tidied up the Lottie I find we only have the following bit of ground to sort out. I thought I would put...

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. Today is the first time since November I have been the Lottie for about 6 weeks . I lost my keys over Christmas, and only found them when I got back to work. The weather has been awful like most of the country and that has prevented my return until today. When at the Lottie in November I planted some broad beans and when I looked at them today I found that they have already started coming up and 1 was already in flower. Down one side of the ...

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. I thought you may like to see some of what I have been doing whilst not on the Lottie. I have been to the Lake District recently and where were staying had a community garden. It was worth the walk up the steep slope to see the lovely garden and sit and rest . Late in April I was helping mom do some wedding flowers for a friend and they turned out extremely well. The bride was extremely happy. Tell me what you think? Hope you like them.

My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. Weeding started and stuff is growing. I told you all I would be back. Anyway I spent 2 1/2 hours at the Lottie weeding, Mom and my friend Lyn came and gave a hand so 80% of the weeds I wanted to move have been dealt with. The potatoes are coming up nicely and we are going to try planting some more before it gets too late. They should then be ready for Christmas we hope. Of our lives.). Anyway I must go as I have a Rhubarb crumble to make.

ziggywiks | I talk too fast.
I talk too fast. March 23, 2013. After 2 whole weeks of torture from Bimonthlies and Finals in Med school, I survived and made it to summer. It feels so good to be free from all the stress and it’s time to hit the beaches baby! Photo taken from style-eyes-jennifer.blogspot.com). Another great thing about summer asides from getting that awesome tan? You get to stroll around the beach with your jaw-dropping bikinis or swimwear! Left: Love the yellow, white and cyan blue combo. Definitely screams summer!
