Even the exceptional CAMPFIRE initiative ( http:/ www.campfirezimbabwe.org/. Has struggled during the tough times and then there is this spectacular initiative – The Malilangwe Trust. Some background on the Trust:.

Travels by a Local with a camera and my Wife. Travel in East Africa. Chimanimani – rugged, lonely, beautiful. Posted on November 1, 2012. This is one of those rarely visited places in the country! Accessing the mountains is done two ways – either you are coming from Mozambique. Which is about nineteen (19) kilometers from the Park Headquarters. Remember you must be self-sufficient u...

Chinhoyi Caves – Sapphire Gem | Zimbabwe Sights
https://zimbabwesights.wordpress.com/2012/10/23/chinhoyi-caves
Travels by a Local with a camera and my Wife. Travel in East Africa. Chinhoyi Caves – Sapphire Gem. Posted on October 23, 2012. This little gem can literally be found on the road to Kariba. I call it a gem for the sapphire blue waters that lie at the bottom of 128 stairs. Through the limestone cave. Finding this beauty is easy – heading north on the Harare/Chirundu road a sign nine (9) kilometers out of Chinhoyi. Town points to the caves and a motel. The caves are formed out of limestone and dolomite rock.
