Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I wanted to tell you about two of my favorite. People, my cousins Connor and Devin. I got to go play at Mr. Gattis. With them. Connor had something. In his hair.I think it was pizza. I love my cousins, Connor needed a hug, but I think Devin just needed another slice of cheese. I enjoy a good Dora and Wonder Pets. On the couch, but seeing my family is. My favorite way to spend a day. Posted by John, Angela, and Briley Barker. Posted by John, Angela, and Briley Barker. But I did it.

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Baylor's First Bath at Home. My Mom and Dad thought I did great for my first bath and they loved the way I smelled! Our family of 4!

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Lifesong Grant and USCIS being processed! Today and yesterday have been super exciting! Today almost $900 came out of our checking account and I've never been so excited! Pray for us and for Bella Kate and Claire to be prepared to have two more siblings. Pray for the Ethiopian government and MOWA(the ministry t...

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Yep, after my pity party blog I wrote last time this one is about how encouraged I am. Do I still painstakingly. Yes Do I still grieve over this time apart and continually pray that he will be to his forever home ASAP? Click the January 8, 2012-The Movement-Series No. 14. Something Crazy: My Post-Adoption Problem...there may be more than one
http://makingit2less.blogspot.com/2012/06/my-post-adoption-problemthere-may-be.html
Wednesday, June 27, 2012. My Post-Adoption Problem.there may be more than one. I'm often told by Christians, "I think that's so great you all did that. I just don't really feel called to do that." It's sort of like missions. Everyone is so glad someone else is doing it, they can feel good about it being done without actually doing any of the hard part themselves. Could you give her a forever family? What if He had not taken on the broken, dirty, sick mess that you were and made you a child? Adopt all the...

Something Crazy: Reality Check
http://makingit2less.blogspot.com/2012/03/reality-check.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Oh ridiculously selfish me! Of course He knows! Of course the God who spoke the world into existence knows all of these things. The question is what do I know? Do I know that God is faithful, do I know that He loves Noah more than I do, do I know that God left the throne and came down to earth as a baby and died a brutal death so that I might have hope in eternal life? Do I know that His word is true and I can claim it's promises? Her whole life I have met her needs, given her thi...

Something Crazy: October 2011
http://makingit2less.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 24, 2011. We Have a Son! We are sooo thrilled to have received the referral for our son! We set out on this journey expecting to go from a family of 4 to a family of 6 overnight. While we still plan on “making it 2 less orphans and 2 more Jenkins” it looks like we are going to do it one at a time. Along with other factors contributed to this change of plans but I’ll get on to the reason you all are reading…our son! So of course I called our coordinator back immediately. He’s current...
